The Archive

The Archive was the last exhibition we creative directed for Ariake right before the Covid-19 pandemic. Looking back, it feels like the beautiful end to an era, before the world ground to a halt. We gathered brands we admire from Japan and Denmark, such as 2016/Arita, Le Klint, Friends & Founders, and held a collective showcase at the Old National Archive of Sweden, a building with great historical significance located at Riddarfjärden in central Stockholm.

The Old National Archive in Stockholm, by architect Axel Fredrik Nyström, was built in 1890 and is one of the first purpose built archive buildings in Europe.

The exhibition was curated by Hanna Nova Beatrice and styled by Annaleena Leino.
